Amanda Owens, MD, is an internal medicine physician providing comprehensive primary care services, with a particular interest in preventive care, diabetes, hypertension, and women’s health care. Dr. Owens delivers the highest quality of care for a range of medical concerns, from acute and urgent visits to the management of chronic conditions.
Originally from Rye, New York, Dr. Owens attended the University of Chicago and received her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Long Island, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and received multiple research grants and awards for her studies on maternal and fetal outcomes in patients with heart disease. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan as part of the Primary Care Track, focusing on outpatient medicine, patient advocacy, and health care leadership.
Dr. Owens believes in providing individualized care to each of her patients and building long-term relationships to best serve their physical and mental health needs. When she is not treating patients, Amanda enjoys reading, baking, trying new NYC restaurants, and staying active with workout classes and swimming.
